Job Description: Sales Associate
Designer Linen Outlet, a brand-new store and first of its kind, is seeking dynamic and motivated Sales Associates to join our team. We specialize in high-quality bed and bath products, providing our customers with luxury linens at exceptional prices. Our mission is to help our customers have a restful night’s sleep, as sleep is essential to health, productivity and happiness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail, a keen eye for design, and a commitment to providing top-tier customer service. We welcome both full and part-time candidates for our new store in the Camarillo Premium Outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in selecting the perfect linens for their homes, offering product knowledge on thread counts, fabric types and sizing.
- Merchandise Management: Regularly stock shelves and display units with new arrivals and replenished inventory, ensuring products are neatly arranged and appealing.
- Sales Performance: Achieve individual sales goals while contributing to the store’s overall success through suggestive selling and upselling complementary products like duvet covers, pillow protectors, and towels.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain the store’s high aesthetic standards, assisting with floor sets, and ensuring price signage is accurate and visible.
- Operations: Process transactions accurately through the POS system, manage inventory shipments, and assist with store opening/closing procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in retail sales or luxury goods is preferred, but not required.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with a diverse clientele.
- Aesthetic Eye: An interest in linens or home decor is a significant plus, but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move boxes of inventory (up to 25 lbs).
- Availability: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
