Warehouse Float

Position: Manufacturing Float

Designer Decal is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manufacturing Float. In this role, you will be cross trained in all departments (lamination, die cutting, shipping & receiving, and screen print, and various other equipment) This position requires the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and a strong commitment to meeting quality and production standards.

Responsibilities / Duties:

• Read work orders to determine the correct material and processes required to complete jobs.
• Log into jobs via a job tracking system.
• Visually inspect products and request quality checks from Art Department.
• Maintain quality and production standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Observe and monitor machine operations to detect and correct malfunctions.
• Maintain lamination equipment and execute preventative maintenance.
• Must be willing to cross-train and assist in other departments as necessary.

Qualifications / Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Print Shop experience helpful but not required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and support team mentality.
• Effective verbal communication.
• Must be able to lift heavy packages.
• Valid driver's license.
