Job Description: Crew Member – Greenhouse Construction

Join a Dedicated Team Building Greenhouses and Outdoor Structures

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join a team for greenhouse building greenhouses and outdoor structures. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commercial and agricultural construction. You will work closely as part of a crew and when not building greenhouses, you’ll be assigned tasks for our other building projects both commercial and residential.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist with the assembly and installation of greenhouse frames, panels, and support structures according to specifications and safety guidelines.

· Transport materials and tools to and from job sites as needed.

· Follow directions from the crew leader and collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely project completion.

· Help maintain a clean and organized work environment, including site clean-up during and after construction.

· Perform construction tasks such as measurements, cutting, and fastening of construction materials.

· Train to install all greenhouse systems including electrical, plumbing, and control (training provided)

· Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and use of proper protective equipment.

· Assist with troubleshooting and repairs under supervision.

· Assist with other company projects including, but not limited to: cabinet removal and installation, punch list repairs on commercial and residential projects, deck building, pavilions and outdoor structures, etc.

Qualifications & Skills

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Valid driver’s license.

· Trade school certificate in a construction related field or general experience preferred.

· No prior greenhouse construction experience required; willingness to learn is essential.

· Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

· Comfortable with physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and using hand and power tools (training provided as needed).

· Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.

· Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

· Team player with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Working Conditions

· Job sites may vary; reliable transportation to meeting point required, long distance transportation will be provided.

· Work hours typically Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime possible.

· Work is primarily outdoors and may involve exposure to varying temperatures and weather.

· Travel may make up 25-100% of the work.
