Designated Defense Security Services is seeking an experienced, motivated, and mission-focused Swing/Night Operations Manager to help lead, strengthen, and scale our security operations.
This is a key leadership role will be responsible for overseeing field operations during swing and night hours, supporting security personnel, ensuring client expectations are met, and maintaining the professional standards that define Designated Defense Security Services.

Position Overview
The Swing/Night Operations Manager will oversee evening, overnight, and after-hours security operations across multiple assignments, including events, government-related contracts, residential communities, commercial properties, and special security details.
This role requires strong leadership, sound judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to manage personnel, client expectations, scheduling challenges, incident response, and compliance requirements during critical operational hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership for swing, night, weekend, and after-hours security operations
- Oversee field personnel, post coverage, call-offs, emergency staffing, and deployment needs
- Conduct site visits, post inspections, quality control checks, and personnel evaluations
- Ensure security officers are following post orders, company policies, client expectations, and Nevada PILB requirements
- Coordinate with clients, law enforcement, property managers, event staff, and internal leadership as needed
- Respond to incidents, staffing issues, client concerns, and operational emergencies during assigned hours
- Review and maintain incident reports, daily activity reports, attendance records, and operational documentation
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, corrective action, and performance evaluations
- Support scheduling, dispatch coordination, and field communication to maintain reliable coverage
- Identify operational weaknesses and implement solutions to improve service quality and accountability
- Help maintain high standards of professionalism, appearance, communication, and conduct among security personnel
- Support business development, client retention, and operational expansion initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Active Nevada PILB Card, or ability to obtain/maintain required licensing before accepting the position
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in security, military, law enforcement, corrections, emergency services, or a related field
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Strong understanding of security operations, field supervision, incident response, and personnel management
- Ability to work swing, night, weekend, holiday, and on-call hours as operational needs require
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead personnel professionally, firmly, and fairly
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive under pressure
- Knowledge of Nevada PILB regulations and general security compliance standards preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Compensation
Designated Defense Security Services offers above-industry-average compensation tailored to leadership-level expectations.
Starting Compensation: $70,000.00 annual

- Ability to improve operations, retention, accountability, and quality control
- Contribution to company growth and client satisfaction
