Snow/De-Icing Equipment Operator

Job Title: Snow/De-Icing Equipment Operator – Full-Time & Opportunity for Leadership Growth

Location: Southern NH (Hudson, Nashua, Manchester, and surrounding areas)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Year-Round (Snow Operations in Winter)

Position Overview:

We are hiring a Full-Time Snow Equipment Operator / Site Inspector to join our year-round team. In this role, you’ll operate heavy equipment for snow removal during winter storms and conduct site inspections to ensure safety and contract compliance. During the rest of the year, you’ll assist with landscaping operations, equipment operation, and site support. A custom position will be built for you based on your skillset, industry experience, and professional ambitions, with potential to advance into a Foreman, Site Manager, or earn/pave your way into a manager position.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate loaders, skid steers, salt/brine truck and other equipment safely during winter snow events.
  • Perform regular site inspections to monitor snow removal quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Communicate with crews and managers to resolve issues quickly.
  • Support landscaping operations, equipment handling, and site management in the off-season.
  • Complete basic equipment maintenance checks and report repairs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate work logs and site condition reports.

Qualifications:

  • Experience operating snow removal equipment (skid steer, loader, or plow truck).
  • Strong knowledge of snow operations, safety procedures, and site compliance.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during snowstorms.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Fertilizer applicator license strongly preferred (sign-on bonus available).

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $24 – $30 per hour (depending on experience).
  • $1,500 sign-on bonus for candidates with a valid NH Fertilizer Applicator License.
