About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Fertilizer Supervisor who brings strong horticultural knowledge and experience managing fertilizer and plant health programs. This role focuses on turf and plant health across residential and commercial properties and plays a key role in maintaining high standards of landscape care. This position also supports winter snow operations as part of our year round services. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys problem solving, working outdoors, and taking ownership of results.
NH Supervisory License is required to apply.
What You Will Do
Fertilizer and Plant Health
- Lead and manage the fertilizer program for residential and commercial clients
- Diagnose turf issues, soil health concerns, and plant health symptoms
- Apply fertilizers and treatments in compliance with state regulations and product guidelines
- Track applications accurately through internal systems and maintain compliance logs
- Recommend improvements to lawns, soil conditions, and overall property health
Team Leadership
- Mentor and train team members in best horticultural practices
- Support internal education and training related to fertilizer and plant health
- Work closely with project managers and maintenance crews to ensure consistent, high quality results
Client Interaction
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and treatment plans clearly and professionally
- Provide education to homeowners and commercial clients as needed
General Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment and vehicles to company standards
- Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe working environment
- Assist with seasonal operations, including participation in snow and ice management services as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 3 to 5 years of experience in fertilizer application, turf management, horticulture, or plant health care
- NH Supervisory License required
- Strong understanding of New England turf, soils, plant material, and pest challenges
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continued learning
- Ability to work outdoors in all seasons, including winter conditions
Bonus Experience
- Education in turfgrass, horticulture, or environmental science
- Experience training or leading team members
- Experience with snow operations or winter services
