Estimator (Fabrication & Grand Format Print)

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 a year (Base compensation commensurate with experience)
Design To Print is a busy grand format printing and fabrication manufacturer based in St. George and Las Vegas. We are a certified UL shop specializing in fabricating light boxes, trade show booths, tension structures, and more. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, complex projects, and we are looking for a skilled Estimator to join our growing team!
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Estimator.
In this role, you will work directly with our Sales Representatives, Vendors, and Production team to ensure accurate pricing of our products and services. You will be the bridge between initial client concepts and production realities - ensuring projects are estimated accurately, competitively, and within time and cost constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Estimating: Provide precise and competitive cost estimates by examining and understanding detailed quote specifications to determine project requirements and timelines.
- Complex Project Planning: Develop, implement, and estimate complex projects within specific time and cost constraints.
- Mathematical Calculations: Calculate material quantities (square yards, linear feet, cubic yards, unit counts, etc.) for each project to factor in needed materials and material movement.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Maintain ongoing communication and interact seamlessly with various internal departments to create the best possible estimate for the job.
- Workflow Coordination: Prioritize and coordinate incoming project work in conjunction with all key stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Partner with the Sales team and Project Managers to identify workable production solutions for challenging, complex projects.
- Estimate Revisions: Revise estimates as needed due to specification changes when an order is submitted for production.
- Documentation: Prepare distribution lists and maintain accurate project records.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the fabricating and/or print/tradeshow industry (Required).
- Technical Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities for precise material and cost calculations.
- Communication: Ability and personality to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
- Efficiency: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload under tight deadlines.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
