This role pays a starting salary of $68,000 - $80,000/year (depending on experience and qualifications) and offers an 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday schedule.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Familiarity with the industry's general concepts, practices, and procedures
While industry experience and knowledge are a plus, what's most important is that you're highly attentive, diligent, and motivated to keep improving and optimizing processes. Bonus qualifications include production environment experience, experience using SolidWorks, and familiarity with industry standards (ASME, ASTM, and ANSI).
Your Impact As Our Manufacturing Process Engineer:
You'll help keep our FRP tank molding processes precise and efficient by leading quality engineering functions and completing detailed documentation. Prioritizing accuracy and thoroughness, you will:
- Lead engineering functions for molding process related to filament winding, spincast, and molding the tops and bottoms of heads
- Lead trial plans for new resins, liners, gelcoats, additives, glass rovings/mats, and release agents
- Clearly define SOPs and create standardized documentation detailing work instructions and audit standards
- Qualify materials and update specs for new products
- Tackle additional responsibilities as assigned
