Overview
We are a growing business that is in need of an additional flooring specialist. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Flooring Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with flooring as well as other remodeling products and driving sales in our retail environment. You will play a key role in creating an inviting atmosphere while showcasing our products and services.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting flooring and other home improvement products that meet their needs.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, including product displays and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Provide support for remodeling projects by offering design advice and product recommendations.
- Job site inspection and measuring
- Project managing
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or inside sales, preferably in the home improvement industry
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of flooring and remodeling processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
