Architectural Drafter Needed – Seattle Metro Residential Permit Projects
We are seeking an experienced architectural drafter who is well‐versed in Seattle‐area residential permit requirements and familiar with local construction documentation standards. If you know how jurisdictions like Seattle, Bellevue, SeaTac, Tacoma, Everett, and unincorporated King/Pierce County expect drawings to be prepared, you’ll fit right in.
About the Role
- Produce complete residential permit drawing sets (site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, details)
- Prepare documentation that aligns with local standards and submittal requirements
- Incorporate redlines quickly and accurately
- Coordinate with structural engineering as needed
- Work on multiple active projects with fast turnaround expectations
What We’re Looking For
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software
- Demonstrated experience preparing residential permit drawings in the Seattle metro area
- Understanding of zoning, setbacks, critical areas, and typical municipal review requirements
- Ability to start immediately
- Reliable, detail‐oriented, and able to manage a steady workflow
