Sr Staff Accountant

We’re seeking an Accountant with a strong foundation in tax and general accounting to join a growing team that values accuracy, ownership, and long-term career development. This role offers hands-on exposure to tax preparation, financial reporting, and client-facing work within a collaborative environment. There is a clear opportunity for growth for someone motivated by responsibility and progression. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and support financial statements and federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.Assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements as assigned.Perform tax preparation work including 1040, 1120, and 1065 returns.Support bookkeeping and accounting tasks using QuickBooks and related tools.Collaborate with senior team members to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of client work. Qualifications4 years of accounting and tax experience, preferably with a small to mid-sized accounting firm.Strong background in tax preparation and general accounting principles.Experience with GO System Tax and/or UltraTax is a plus.CPA strongly preferred.Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ambitious, driven, and interested in long-term growth with partnership potential. Equal Opportunity StatementDesign Hire is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer. Salary : $85,000 - $120,000
