We are seeking a Drafting Supervisor to lead a multi-disciplined design and drafting team supporting projects in the nuclear sector. This role requires a strong technical foundation combined with proven leadership skills to ensure drawings, documentation, and project deliverables are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will balance oversight with hands-on drafting contributions while fostering collaboration across engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and mentor drafting staff, ensuring quality standards and deadlines are consistently met.
· Manage the preparation of 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and technical documentation for structural, mechanical, and electrical designs.
· Review and approve drawings, checking for compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications.
· Coordinate drafting deliverables with engineers and project managers to support multi-disciplined project needs.
· Implement quality control measures across drafting documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Qualifications
·Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Drafting, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
· 5 years of experience in drafting and design, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
· Proficiency in 2D/3D drafting software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit or equivalent).
· Experience working on nuclear or highly regulated projects preferred.
· Strong understanding of drafting workflows, documentation standards, and quality control processes.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop team members.
· Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
