We’re looking for a Construction Safety Specialist with a strong background in EHS compliance and industrial construction safety. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe execution of equipment installations, infrastructure projects, and facility expansions across manufacturing and construction environments. The ideal candidate has experience conducting audits, investigating incidents, and driving a proactive safety culture rooted in accountability and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct on-site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.Support equipment installation and industrial construction projects by developing and enforcing site-specific safety procedures.Lead root cause investigations and implement effective corrective actions for incidents and near-misses.Maintain and manage safety documentation, including reports, training records, and compliance tracking.Partner with project managers and field teams to identify hazards, review safety plans, and promote safe work practices.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.3–7 years of safety experience in manufacturing or industrial construction environments.Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards, safety audits, and root cause analysis.Proven ability to develop and execute corrective and preventive action plans.Excellent communication and leadership skills for engaging cross-functional teams.Proficient in safety documentation and reporting systems.OSHA 30 certification required; CSP or CHST a plus.Ability to travel to job sites and work in field environments as needed.Equal Opportunity StatementDesign Hire is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
