We’re looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team specializing in laser cutting and fabrication. This hands-on role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC and laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components according to blueprints and CAD files. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working with precision tolerances in a fast-paced production environment. Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines and laser cutters to meet production specifications and quality standards.Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents to ensure accurate part fabrication.Perform measurements and inspections to verify part accuracy using precision tools.Maintain and calibrate machinery, ensuring consistent production quality and uptime.Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process efficiency and material optimization.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.3 years of CNC machining or laser cutting experience in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings.Experience working with acrylics, plastics, or light-gauge metals preferred.Familiarity with EnRoute or similar CAM/CAD software; CAD/CAM programming skills a plus.Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and maintain a safe, organized workspace.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Equal Opportunity StatementDesign Hire is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
