- Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our manufacturing warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process of manufacturing wood filler for the hardwood floor industry. While previous warehouse experience is preferred, we welcome motivated individuals who are willing to learn and grow in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow proprietary formulations for manufacturing an extensive line of wood fillers sold throughout the US and Canada.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers and warehouse shelves with precision and efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with a team to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Handle and maneuver materials in a safe and effective manner.
- Operate forklifts (experience preferred but not mandatory) for material handling tasks.
- Lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Adapt to varying tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment.
- This position will also cross train in our Shipping warehouse to cover vacations and sick time.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience strongly preferred
- Forklift experience is an asset, but we are willing to train motivated candidates
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing over 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to handle varying tasks and responsibilities
- Strong attention to safety protocols and guidelines
- A BIG PLUS if this individual has general maintenance and repair experience
We are a small, close-knit company and a great place to work! Schedule is Monday thru Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. 40 hours per week guaranteed. We need an individual willing to work hard and become part of our team! Ability to read, write and speak English fluently is a requirement. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!
