Cutting Machine Operator - Lectra

The Machine Operator is responsible for a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Machine Operators utilize technology to cut fabric to customer orders and Design Foundry specifications.

Essential Functions

• Inspects & verifies part meets quality specifications from work order.
• Load fabric on to Lectra cutting machine table to be cut according to specifications of work order.
• Off loads cut fabric from Lectra cutting machine and groups according to work order
• Bundle fabric work orders, load on sewing racks
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment
• Read prints and process sheets
• Assist with the training of new employees, and follow all company policies and procedures
• Demonstrate ability to work successfully in a team-based environment that heavily emphasizes quality, performance, cross-training, and accountability
• Consistently satisfy or exceed productivity requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Read, learn and follow training, adhere precisely to written procedures
• Problem solving skills
• Must be able to follow detailed instruction, inspection procedures and product appearance
• Work quickly on your own or in a team
• Must also be able to enter data into a computer screen
• Must be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
• Preferred Experience with AutoCAD, Gerber and Lectra Cutting Machine
• High School Diploma or G.E.D
