The Machine Operator is responsible for a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Machine Operators utilize technology to cut fabric to customer orders and Design Foundry specifications.
Essential Functions
- Inspects & verifies part meets quality specifications from work order.
- Load fabric on to Lectra cutting machine table to be cut according to specifications of work order.
- Off loads cut fabric from Lectra cutting machine and groups according to work order
- Bundle fabric work orders, load on sewing racks
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment
- Read prints and process sheets
- Assist with the training of new employees, and follow all company policies and procedures
- Demonstrate ability to work successfully in a team-based environment that heavily emphasizes quality, performance, cross-training, and accountability
- Consistently satisfy or exceed productivity requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Read, learn and follow training, adhere precisely to written procedures
- Problem solving skills
- Must be able to follow detailed instruction, inspection procedures and product appearance
- Work quickly on your own or in a team
- Must also be able to enter data into a computer screen
- Must be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
- Preferred Experience with AutoCAD, Gerber and Lectra Cutting Machine
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
