Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Architectural Drafter to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans that support architectural projects from concept through construction. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate on innovative designs, utilize advanced drafting software.
Duties
- Develop detailed architectural drawings, schematics, and construction documents using software such as Revit.
- Create 3D models and visualizations utilizing SketchUp, Grasshopper 3D and 2D animation tools to enhance project presentations.
- Prepare system designs, interior layouts, mechanical components, and graphic representations aligned with project specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to translate conceptual ideas into accurate technical drawings.
- Review project requirements and ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Assist in the development of schematics for construction systems and interior design elements.
- Support project documentation efforts by organizing files and maintaining version control throughout the design process.
Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture or related field strongly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Proven experience with Revit, Bluebeam, and SketchUp, required.
- Strong understanding of drafting principles, schematics, system design, and construction documentation.
- Knowledge of graphic design principles and interior or mechanical design is a plus.
- Working understanding of building codes, construction methods, and documentation standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
