Flooring & Construction EstimatorJob OverviewWe are a flooring-focused construction company seeking a Senior Flooring & Construction Estimator with strong, hands-on experience in flooring takeoffs and the ability to handle construction takeoffs when required. This role is intended for an experienced estimator who can work independently, spot scope gaps, and produce accurate, competitive bids with minimal oversight.You’ll work closely with ownership, project managers, and operations to support profitable, well-scoped projects.ResponsibilitiesLead detailed flooring takeoffs (carpet, LVT, tile,) using MeasureSquarePerform construction takeoffs as needed (demolition, framing, drywall, minor finishes, etc.)Review architectural drawings, finish schedules, specifications, and addendaDevelop accurate pricing for materials, labor, and installation methodsIdentify scope gaps, exclusions, alternates, and project risks before bid submissionCollaborate with project managers to ensure smooth handoff from estimate to executionSupport cost control and value-engineering effortsMaintain historical pricing, labor units, and estimating standardsParticipate in site visits when required to verify conditions and scopeRequired Qualifications3 years of experience in flooring estimating and/or construction estimatingAdvanced working knowledge of MeasureSquare (required)Proven ability to estimate projects independently from plans to final bidStrong understanding of commercial construction documentsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skills and professional judgmentPreferred QualificationsCommercial flooring experience (multi-family, hospitality, senior living, healthcare, etc.)Experience with PlanSwift or similar takeoff softwareField background in flooring installation or general constructionProfessional estimating certification (CPE or similar)What We OfferCompetitive senior-level compensation (based on experience)Health insurance, 401(k), and paid time offStable workload and long-term opportunity
