Job Position: Experienced Excavation Laborer
Reports to: Onsite Supervisor
Direct Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Essential Job Functions: Report to work daily, be on time for work daily, willingness to learn, work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to strict safety measures. This position is for experienced candidates ONLY. Candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years verifiable experience in the excavation industry. The ideal applicant will have knowledge and/ or background of the following:
- Using transit for grade control
- Use of GPS equipment
- Basic pipe laying
- Basic problem solving
- Reading and understanding blueprints
- Working as a team
- Understand and accept orders from managers
- OSHA Regulations
- Excellent communication skills
This position will be responsible for:
- Working with an assigned machine operator
- Working as a team in a fast-paced environment
- Communicating with project manager
Essentials for the right candidate:
- Valid PA driver's license
- Own Transportation
- Communication
- Be able to lift 80 lbs
- Be able to pass the following: Pre and post-employment:
- Criminal background check
- Clean driving record
- Drug Test
- DOT Physical
- Workplace Physical
