Job Summary

The Painter Helper will perform a variety of cleaning duties in the paint department. Painters use various techniques that will include but are not limited to wet paint spraying and several other techniques on metal parts. Material preparation such as sand blasting, cleaning, masking among other techniques are required as a Painter Helper.

Job Duties

• Prepping components for paint.
• Using power tools for cleaning.
• Wiping down cranes with cleaning solution to prep cranes for painting.
• Any other duties assigned by manager
  
  

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous forklift experience is helpful.
• Previous experience working in an industrial environment.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday
• Lift up to 30 pounds frequently
• Twist, reach and bend frequently
• Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine)
• Possess depth perception and peripheral vision
• Possess the ability to hear
  
  

Working Conditions

• Subject to standing on hard surfaces up to 12 hours per day
• Exposure to hot and cold conditions

All listed amounts are net pay & available to hourly manufacturing personnel only.

• $150 2 weeks employed*
• $350 6 months employed**
• $500 12 months employed**
• Requires zero (0) tardies or unexcused absences allowed during this time period.
• Associate must not receive any progressive discipline per the Employee Handbook.
