As a Crane Service Technician, your duties will include:
- Troubleshooting, repairing, inspection, and modernization of industrial equipment.
- Communicating and offering customer support for parts and material orders.
- Preparing required reports and administrative paperwork.
- Accompanying sales personnel for occasional calls and follow-ups.
- Working in various environments which may require standing, walking, bending, and crawling.
- Must be passionate about offering great customer service.
- Working at heights and frequent travel within the Territory.
- Occasional overnight travel.
- Our techs must be able to communicate effectively via phone and email. Basic computer skills are required.
- We expect our techs to work in a close team atmosphere.
You are a great fit for our team if you have:
- A strong background in AC and DC electromechanical and solid state motor control systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams. (Able to troubleshoot without prints on occasion)
- Mechanical experiences with gear reducers and drive systems a plus.
- Prior overhead crane experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team.
- Basic computer skills to work with web-based applications.
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- A commitment to working safely.
As a Service Technician you can expect:
