Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Buyer role located in Ocala, FL. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring smartphones and electronics in alignment with company needs and goals. Day-to-day tasks include managing supplier relationships, analyzing market trends, conducting price comparisons, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies. Tele-sales or Telemarketing is a strong plus.
Qualifications
- Experience with procurement, vendor management, and supply chain processes
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to conduct market analyses
- Basic knowledge of smartphones and electronics, including trends and specifications
- Proficient in using spreadsheets, procurement software, and other relevant tools
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships
- Problem-solving aptitude with a focus on cost savings and operational efficiency
- Familiarity with environmental compliance or recycling practices is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or a degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field is a plus
