Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting while delivering excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Set up and break down operatories
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
- Provide patient education and post-operative instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting
Qualifications
- X-ray certification (required)
- CPR certification (required)
- Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred, not required)
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
