When someone's water heater dies or a pipe starts leaking, the first person they talk to is you. You calm them down, figure out what they need, and get a tech on the way. This is a sales job on the phone. You turn calls into booked jobs.
Desert Water Plumbing is a residential service plumbing and water treatment company in the Phoenix area: water heaters, water softeners, reverse osmosis, repipes, leak detection and repair, and general service plumbing.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Answer our phones as the main point of contact, all day
- Figure out how urgent each call is: does it need us today, or can it wait?
- Turn calls into booked jobs: explain the value, offer the right time, and handle price questions with confidence
- Call outbound plumbing leads and get them booked
- Schedule smart: know the Valley well enough to place jobs so our trucks aren't crisscrossing town
- Tell the office and techs right away when something needs to happen today
- Follow up on estimates that haven't closed
- Book everything in Housecall Pro

MUST-HAVES
- Sales experience at a plumbing, HVAC or similar home-service company
- You live in the Phoenix area and know the Valley (you know how far Surprise is from Mesa)
- Comfortable being on the phone all day
- Available Monday through Saturday, 8am-5pm with a lunch break, one weekday off
- You solve problems yourself and move with urgency
- Comfortable with computers and quick to learn new software
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Plumbing knowledge (water heaters, softeners, RO, leaks)
- Housecall Pro experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
SCHEDULE
Monday-Saturday, 8am-5pm with a lunch break, one weekday off. Monday-Friday in our north Phoenix shop; Saturdays from home.
