About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Resident Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction, maintaining property standards, leading staff, and achieving financial goals. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Staff ManagementSupervise, train, and motivate onsite staff to ensure smooth daily operations.Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and development.Foster a professional, team-oriented, and respectful work culture. Property Operations & MaintenanceOversee all property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.Ensure make-ready units and maintenance requests are completed promptly.Conduct regular inspections of units, grounds, and amenities.Manage vendor contracts and ensure projects meet company standards.Financial ManagementPrepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure adherence to financial goals.Oversee rent collection and delinquency control.Approve invoices and payroll submissions accurately and on time. Resident Relations & Community EngagementDeliver outstanding customer service and build a welcoming community atmosphere.Handle resident concerns and service requests promptly and professionally.Coordinate resident events, newsletters, and community communications. Marketing & LeasingLead leasing efforts to maintain high occupancy levels.Ensure the property, models, and common areas are market-ready.Review marketing strategies, analyze competition, and assist with promotions. QualificationsMust be able to Live-On-SiteMinimum 3 years of residential property management or related experience.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Experience with budgeting, maintenance coordination, and resident relations.Proficiency in MS Office and property management software (Yardi/OneSite preferred).Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.Knowledge of LIHTC/TX Credit compliance is a plus.
