Responsibilities
• Call Commitment: Minimum of 14 days/month of 24-hour call coverage• Primary Responsibilities:• First assist in surgical procedures across multiple specialties• Perform patient consultations and evaluations• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care• Team Collaboration: Work closely with attending physicians, OR staff, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care.• Growth Opportunity: Gain hands-on experience in a busy community hospital with a variety of cases.
Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program• NCCPA Certification required• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of California• Prior surgical first-assist experience preferred• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Desert Valley Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is$75-$90. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
