What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Dental Assistant position at Desert Valley Dental?
Desert Valley Dental is seeking an experienced, professional Dental Assistant who is passionate about providing quality care for our locally-owned practice.
The ideal candidates for this position will work effectively with team members and produce high-quality care. As Dental Assistants, you are responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our patients and helping to support the clinical needs of our patients and doctors.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Doctor with all procedures
- Able to perform dental impression images (X-Rays, intra-oral photos, CT scans)
- Preparing and sterilizing instruments following OSHA requirements
- Able to manage office procedures and health-related matters
- Responsible for performing charting exams
- Responsible for verifying patients' health and history
- Polishing teeth
- Experience with implants and Invisalign
- Build and maintain positive, professional, and good relationships with team members and patients
Experience and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of dental terminology and dental equipment
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Must have dependable transportation (we have multiple locations)
