Duties
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), to facilitate smooth production flow
- Assemble, inspect, and package products following detailed specifications and quality standards
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance
- Manage warehouse inventory, including loading, unloading, and organizing materials using forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Follow safety protocols during packaging operations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain accurate documentation of packaging activities, inspections, and process deviations for quality assurance
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing or packaging environments, preferably within regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or food production
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of packaging processes, assembly techniques, and warehouse operations
- Understanding of FDA regulations, CGMP guidelines, and quality assurance standards
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and process adherence
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform manual tasks efficiently
