Desert Shores Pediatrics is a busy, well-established pediatric practice seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in Chandler and Gilbert, AZ.
We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, organized, and enjoys working with children and families in a fast-paced clinical environment.
What You’ll Do
- Room pediatric patients and assist with daily clinic flow
- Obtain vitals and document patient information in the EHR
- Administer injections and perform in-house lab testing under provider direction
- Assist providers with in-office procedures
- Perform vision and hearing screenings
- Maintain accurate immunization records, including VFC documentation
- Support patient communication, referrals, and prior authorizations
- Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and safety protocols
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- BLS certification required
- EHR experience required
- Pediatric or outpatient clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
