Job Description **FOR APPLICANTS GIVEN OFFERS ALREADY** Interns with the DRI Research Immersion Internship program will work with a team of dedicated scientists to gain hands-on research experience in solving critical scientific problems. Interns must be ready to take on new challenges by learning new skills and broadening their knowledge base. After a guided training period, interns will work closely with mentors and their team members on science, technology, and entrepreneurship-focused projects that will launch their curiosity and their careers. Required Qualifications Currently enrolled in one of the following NSHE institutions: TMCC, CSN, GBC, NSC, or WNC. Interest in various complex science topics. Interest in learning and applying new skills and knowledge to helps solve scientific problems. Interest in developing teamwork and communication skills. Compensation Grade $14 hour Schedule To be determined - Schedules are based on the project into which the student interns are recruited. Physical Requirements Projects requiring fieldwork may involve long periods walking, standing, or carrying up to 50 pounds.
