- Complies with regulatory requirements (i.e. TJC) appropriate for position
- 2-4 year degree in ARRT approved radiation therapy program
- Current Certified Radiologic Technologist License
- Current ARRT (maintain current at all times)
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required (maintain current at all times).
- Knowledge of record and verify computer programs
- Expertise in all of the various forms of treatment procedure in own department
- Ability to communicate well with patients and co-workers
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in a high pace treatment environment
- Able to convey a sense of calm professionalism to the patient
- Trouble-shooting skills regarding treatment parameters - (problem solving)
