What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office Representative – Dental Office position at Desert Radiance Dental?
Front Desk Coordinator
Help create the kind of dental experience people remember.
We’re a growing dental practice looking for a friendly, organized Front Desk Coordinator to be one of the first welcoming faces our patients see.
The front desk is at the heart of our practice. You’ll help patients feel comfortable, keep the day running smoothly, and support our clinical team behind the scenes. If you enjoy working with people, staying organized, and being part of a close-knit team, we’d love to meet you.
What you’ll do
- Welcome patients warmly and create a positive first impression
- Answer phones, respond to questions, and help patients navigate their appointments
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Coordinate with the dental team to keep the day running smoothly
- Help with patient check-in and check-out
- Review treatment plans, payments, and insurance information with patients
- Keep patient information accurate and up to date
- Help create a calm, organized, and welcoming office environment
Every day will be a little different, but your goal will be the same: make things easier for our patients and our team.
What you’ll bring
You don’t need to have a perfect résumé to be successful here. We’re looking for someone who is:
- Warm, friendly, and genuinely enjoys helping people
- Organized and comfortable juggling several things at once
- A clear and confident communicator
- Dependable and attentive to details
- Comfortable learning new technology and systems
- Positive, professional, and willing to pitch in wherever needed
- Experienced with dental insurance/billing
- Bilingual in Spanish encouraged but not required.
What you can expect from us
We’re a growing practice, which means you’ll have the opportunity to make a real contribution and grow with the team.
You can expect:
- A supportive, collaborative team
- Training and guidance as you learn our systems
- Opportunities to take on more responsibility as you grow
- A workplace where your ideas and contributions are valued
- A patient-first environment where kindness matters
Most importantly, we want you to feel like a valued member of the team—not just the person sitting at the front desk.
Interested?
If you’re someone who takes pride in making people feel welcome, enjoys keeping things organized, and wants to grow with a great dental team, we’d love to hear from you.
A love of Dr. Pepper and mountain biking not required, but strongly supported.
