Full-Time Orthopedic Provider (ACNP or PA)

Desert Orthopedics Center is seeking a full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team. This is a primarily clinic-based position with no surgical responsibilities. The role includes rotating office call and light inpatient rounding responsibilities, but no surgical call, offering an excellent work-life balance in a supportive orthopedic setting.
Position Overview
- Independent outpatient clinic responsibilities with physician supervision
- Evaluation and management of orthopedic conditions and injuries
- Comprehensive patient care including:
- Fracture management
- Casting and bracing
- Wound care
- In-office procedures and injections (training provided, including fluoroscopic guidance)
- Ongoing patient communication, follow-ups, and care coordination
- Administrative responsibilities including documentation, paperwork, and patient inquiries
- Light inpatient rounding responsibilities as needed
Training & Development
We are committed to developing highly skilled orthopedic providers. Our structured, hands-on training includes:
- Fluoroscopic-guided injections
- Casting and bracing techniques
- Wound management
- General orthopedic clinical care
Most providers reach a high level of clinical confidence within approximately 1–2 years through our mentorship-driven model. Both new graduates and experienced providers seeking to expand their orthopedic skillset are encouraged to apply.

Schedule
- Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- No weekends
- Primarily clinic-based with occasional inpatient rounding responsibilities
Locations
We operate across three locations:
- North Scottsdale
- South Scottsdale
- Glendale
This position will support both Scottsdale and Glendale locations based on operational needs. All sites are within the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Qualifications
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensed in Arizona (or eligible)
