What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinet Installer position at Desert Legacy Cabinets?
Job Title: Licensed & Insured Cabinet Installer — Subcontractor (Southern Utah)
Company: Desert Legacy Cabinets
Pay: $80,000–$120,000 per year
About Desert Legacy Cabinets
We're a fast-growing cabinet contractor serving Washington, Iron, and Kane counties. Our promise to homeowners and builders is simple: beautiful cabinets, delivered on time, installed cleanly. We accommodate a wide range of customers and produce a wide range of cabinetry.
We're hiring an additional licensed installer to keep up with demand.
The Role
This is a 1099 subcontractor position, not a W-2 job. You run your own crew (or work solo — most of our jobs are single-installer), set your own schedule within our build calendar, and get paid per job. We bring you complete kits, accurate plans, and steady volume. You bring craftsmanship and reliability.
What You'll Do
- Install cabinets and finish accessories in residential homes and remodels
- Read and execute cabinet elevations, floor plans, and shop drawings
- Coordinate with our project managers and other trades on site
- Deliver clean and timely installs that represent the Desert Legacy brand
- Communicate proactively on damaged product, site conditions, and punch items
Requirements
- Active Utah contractor license (or willing to obtain)
- General liability insurance — minimum $1M occurrence / $2M aggregate, DLC named as additional insured
- Workers' comp (or valid exemption certificate if owner-operator)
- Current W-9 and business entity (LLC or sole prop)
- Own truck/van, tools, and ladders
- 3 years of cabinet installation experience with verifiable references
- Clean, proactive, and capable — someone who takes pride in their work and represents the brand well
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
