What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
- Sell flooring, granite, blinds and custom services to clients
- Greet customers on the sales floor and determine their wants and needs
- Stay up-to-date on our product offerings, benefits, and warranties
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Process sales orders and measure spaces in homes or businesses
- Follow up with customers after job completion
- Build relationships with clients and colleagues
- Execute targeted sales strategies
- Process transactions and use our computer database to research availability and process orders
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide design advice
- Assist customers with product choices and decorating advice
- Maintain showroom displays and samples
- Pursue new business opportunities
Key Qualifications:
- Willing to work on the showroom floor and prospect for new clients in the community.
- Commitment to undergoing extensive product and sales training to become a certified flooring and design expert.
- Self-starting individual with strong organizational skills.
- Able to create new business and provide exceptional follow-up service.
- Able to provide outstanding customer service.
- Passion for decorating or design, or relevant experience.
- Access to reliable transportation for work and customer visits.
- Flexible work schedule, including weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn our operating systems.
- Retail sales experience preferred but not required.
- Personal or professional experience with remodeling or a related field.
