Duties
- Prepare food items efficiently and accurately following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions, order processing, and cash handling
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance sales and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including food prep areas, kitchen equipment, and dining surfaces
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and balance cash drawers at shift end
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation needs
- Ensure food safety standards are upheld through proper handling, sanitation, and storage practices
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
- Support team members during busy periods by providing excellent customer service and efficient order fulfillment
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during overnight shifts
- Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or cashier operations is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and order calculations
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation protocols is desirable but not mandatory
