The Role
We are seeking an Agricultural Territory Sales Associate to support sales growth in Southern and Central California. This role is ideal for an early career sales professional who is comfortable with new approaches to soil and plant health and wants to be  part of a team working to make agriculture both more efficient and environmentally friendly.
You will work closely with the Director of Sales to develop opportunities, engage customers, and help drive adoption of Desert Control’s solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Work with your existing relationships to pilot LNC in a variety of crop and soil types.
- Prospect and qualify new sales opportunities within your territory
- Support the full sales cycle: outreach, discovery, presentations, proposals, and closing
- Conduct in-person and virtual product presentations and demonstrations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners
- Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot)
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure successful deployments
- Assist with territory planning, market research, and sales reporting
- Represent Desert Control at regional trade shows, field days, and industry events
What We’re Looking For
- Strong, existing relationships with permanent crop growers in the southern Central Valley of California
- 3 years of experience in agricultural sales, customer success, or related roles
- Experience in AGRICULTURE, turf, golf, irrigation, or Agriculture technology
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Desire to grow and make an impact with an emerging leader in soil health
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, territory-based role
- Willingness to travel within the region (30–50%)
- Valid driver’s license
- Fluent reading and writing in English is a requirement. Spanish language is an advantage.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA (US Citizen or work permit)

- Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $75,000–$160,000 (DOE proven performance) plus commissions
