Position Summary:
Cocktail servers take orders and serve beverage orders, make recommendations, and process payments while providing excellent customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Greet guests in a positive and friendly manner and acknowledge all celebrations, anniversaries, birthdays, and other special notes that are specified.
· Ability to interact with guests to ensure guest satisfaction.
· Presents menus, answers questions, and makes suggestions for all food and beverage items.
· Coordinate with bar staff to ensure all availability of beverages.
· Enter all orders accurately into the POS system and follow proper cash/payment card procedures.
· Possess complete food and beverage knowledge of all products that are being served.
· Follow all proper cash/payment car procedures.
· The ability to up-sell and offer food and beverage suggestions to guests.
· Maintaining compliance with applicable health code, dress code, and other serving standards.
· Thoroughly check ID to ensure guests are of proper drinking age.
· All other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
· Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stopping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
· Must be able to lifts up to 50 Ibs.
· Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
Skills / Experience:
· Must at least be 21 years of age.
· At least two (2) years ’of previous cocktail serving experience.
· Previous experience in a fast-paced environment.
· Actively contributes as a team player by being helpful/assisting when needed.
· Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safe minded manner.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays when required.
· Must have a Food Handler card up to date.
Salary : $17
