What are the responsibilities and job description for the Provider Maintenance Representative- 1 Year Position position at Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators?
The Member Services Department administers various health and financial benefits to organizations of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are committed to delivering exceptional service to all our valued customers including participants, providers, and employers.
Duties: This employee will be responsible to revise and add provider records to the claims processing system (Amisys), enroll providers for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA), research and resolve NPI billing errors, handle W-9 and 1099 forms for providers, resolve daily data integrity reports, take inbound provider calls, and work with the zip code maintenance files.

- Ability to analyze and interpret processing problems related to providers

- High School graduate or equivalent
- Preferred medical or dental claims processing experience
- Preferred completion of a Medical Terminology Course
Work Opportunity: This position requires a one-year, fixed-term service agreement and offers a flexible hybrid work model. Qualified candidates have the option to work remotely. At minimum, team members are required to work at the Salt Lake City home office every Thursday in addition to attending company and department meetings and events at various times throughout the year.
During the 4-week training program, you will initially spend a minimum of two weeks working at our home office, followed by the remaining training period on a hybrid work schedule for those who desire and qualify.
