We are seeking a skilled and motivated ESD Bag Setup Technicians to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining bag-making equipment used to produce Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protective packaging products. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and production efficiency.
Machine Setup & Changeovers
- Perform machine setups and product changeovers according to production schedules.
- Install and adjust tooling, sealing components, print cylinders, and machine accessories.
- Configure machine settings to meet product specifications and customer requirements.
- Conduct startup inspections and first-piece approvals prior to production runs.
- Document setup parameters and maintain setup records.
Quality Control
- Perform in-process quality inspections and measurements.
- Verify dimensions, seal integrity, print quality, and overall product appearance.
- Identify and correct quality issues before products move to the next process.
- Maintain compliance with customer specifications and company quality standards.
Qualifications
Preferred
- Manufacturing experience operating production equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, tape measure, specifications, and production documentation.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour
