Responsibilities
- Cut, measure, and assemble mat materials according to production specifications
- Operate equipment such as cutting machines, presses, and trimming tools safely and efficiently
- Inspect mats for quality, including size, shape, and material consistency
- Stack, package, and prepare finished mats for shipping or further processing
- Move raw materials and finished products within the department (forklift or pallet jack use as needed)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and productivity
- Work with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets
- Track material usage and report any shortages or defects
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred (mat, textile, or similar environment a plus)
- Ability to use measuring tools, cutting equipment, and basic hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions accurately
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive physical tasks
- 30-40 lbs of lifting may be required
- Good communication skills and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic understanding of quality standards and production processes
