Working with Deschutes Pet Lodge you will be playing with animals outside or inside, cleaning up after animals and having a good time. Duties include handling of dogs/cats, cleaning of rooms, facility maintenance, personal playtimes with dogs/cats, overseeing groups of dogs in play, recognizing various types of animal behaviors and following facility protocols and safety practices.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Stand/walk for several hours.
- Work in all types of weather outdoors.
Experience handling animals and customer service experience preferred.
Must be able to work between the hours of 7am-6pm
Weekends and holidays required.
Full -Time (40hrs) 4 days per week- 10hr shifts. 7am-6pm (1hr lunch)
Part-Time-(24-36hrs) 4-5 days per week- 7am-1pm shift
Must have impeccable attendance record and reliable transportation. The animals count on us to be there to take care of them!
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
