Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Auditor For our Staten Island, NY CPA Firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial auditing, risk assessment, and financial analysis. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills will be utilized to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. The schedule is a hybrid in office and remote schedule with half day on Fridays.
Duties
- Conduct financial audits following Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Evaluate risk management processes and internal controls
- Utilize accounting software, CCH Engagement and Knowledge Coach
- Prepare detailed financial reports based on audit findings
- Perform governmental and non-profit audits
- Conduct financial analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4 Years Experience as an Auditor
- Experienced in Non-Profit preferred
- Strong computer skills; CCH Engagement and Knowledge Coach is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
