Desai Eye Care is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, energetic Ophthalmic Assistant to join our team in Lafayette!If you love helping patients, enjoy a fast-paced clinical environment, and want to be part of a practice known for compassionate, high-quality care, we’d love to meet you.Compensation:$16 - $18 hourlyResponsibilities:What You’ll DoPerform accurate refractions and visual acuity testingConduct preliminary patient workups (history, tonometry, OCTs, Optos, visual fields, etc)Support our physicians during exams and proceduresContact lens evaluationsAssist in surgery charts/pre-op evaluationsDeliver a positive patient experience with professionalism and empathyMaintain clinical flow, room patients efficiently, and assist with charting in the EMR (scribing)Help out in any way that we need you to!
