We are a well-established dental office located in Winter Park, Florida and are looking for a front desk receptionist/patient coordinator. Dental experience required as well as experience with Dentrix. This person should be a compassionate, dedicated & motivated individual as well as team-player.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for patients, greeting them warmly and assisting with inquiries. This includes answering phone calls and addressing patient concerns professionally.
- Insurance Liaison: Work with dental insurance companies to verify benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, and ensure claims are submitted accurately and promptly.
- Treatment Plan Coordination: Responsible for coordinating patient treatment plans, ensuring effective communication between patients and dental professionals, and managing administrative tasks to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency
- Appointment Management: Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments based on their needs and the dentist's availability. Ensure that the daily schedule is accurate and communicated to the dental team.
- Record Keeping: Maintain and update patient records, ensuring that all information is accurate and confidential. This includes entering patient data into the computer system and managing insurance documentation.
- Billing and Payments: Collect patient fees, process payments, and generate billing statements.
- Office Management: Ensure the front desk and waiting areas are organized and presentable. Manage the flow of patients in the office to minimize wait times and enhance patient satisfaction.
