The Des Plaines Public Library is seeking a part-time Materials Services Clerk with computer skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to be part of an active, friendly team. Responsibilities include checking in materials, pulling items to fill patron holds, answering and directing patron phone calls, and preparing library materials for delivery.
Minimum qualifications
• High school degree
• One year of library experience or one year of experience organizing and working with merchandise in retail customer service, or equivalent experience.
Scheduled Hours
This part-time position is 23 hours bi-weekly (over two weeks)
Tuesday & Thursday 5:00p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Every Other Weekend: Saturday 9am-5pm (with a 1 hour lunch) & Sunday 1pm-5pm
Wage: $16.50/hour
Salary : $17 - $20
