JOB IDENTIFICATION
Job Title: Early Bird Pool Maintenance- Oakwood
Grade: II
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Department: Parks
SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor
BASIC FUNCTION
Pool maintenance staff will ensure the cleanliness of the Aquatic Facility and work to keep them fully functional throughout the seasons.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Perform daily maintenance and cleaning at swimming pools and Aquatic Facilities.
- Perform cleaning of locker rooms, restrooms, and concession areas associated with swimming pools.
- Vacuum bottom of swimming pools.
- Clean and pressure wash pool deck areas.
- Pick-up debris and empty garbage cans.
- Perform safety inspections and observation of pool areas.
OTHER DUTIES
- Assist administrative staff with special maintenance requests.
- May be required to perform overtime work as requested or required, including weekends.
- Assist patrons with providing information as requested.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Park District Safety and Crisis Manuals
- Coordinates activities to successfully collaborate with district staff performing maintenance in the same area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Less than High School.
Experience: Related experience preferred
Certifications: Driver’s License preferred
