Job Summary:
Community Schools exist to build meaningful partnerships between families, schools, and the community leading to improved student learning, thriving families and vibrant neighborhoods. Community School (CS) Coordinators strengthen the bridge between the school and the community. The efforts of Community School Coordinators are categorized in four pillars: integrated student supports, expanded learning time and opportunities, family and community engagement, and collaborative leadership and practice. CS Coordinators provide leadership for the coordination of community and school efforts driven by quantitative and qualitative data evolving from regular meetings of school teams and community partners.
Successful candidates for this position will possess:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work or related field.
Experience in coordinating school-based services with community organizations.
Highly Qualified candidates for this position will possess:
Knowledge of student demographic, performance and anecdotal data
Salary Range for this position: $58,947 - $70,491
This represents the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.
- Position is 260 day calendar / 8 hours a day.
