Job Summary:
Plans and coordinates services including student and family orientations focused on strengthening the relationship between home, school, and language minority communities. Foster the development of community and school relationships which lead to high student achievement, stronger families and healthier communities. Leads the effort by schools to coordinate community and schools initiatives. Uses quantitative and qualitative data evolving from regular meetings of school site teams. This position may require some level of use of independent judgment.
Successful candidates for this position will possess:
Associate’s Degree OR a combination of completed college course work and work experience in serving language minority populations
Fluency in all four domains (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) of the language serving ELL students, parents, and community members
Demonstrated proficiency in the English language in all four domains (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
Highly Qualified candidates for this position will possess:
Bachelor’s Degree
