The Mind and Spirit Counseling Center is seeking an Office Manager to join our team. This is a great opportunity to make a difference for those desperately in need of quality mental health services. The ideal candidate is reliable, well organized, able to multi-task and pay close attention to detail in this essential position that coordinates daily operations. Responsibilities include daily operations, managing reception staff, facilities, being a liaison with outsourced electronic health records (EHR) and IT partners; and relates closely to the administrative leadership team. The position reports to the executive director and is part of our leadership team, which requires the ability to be a strategic thought-partner. This is also a great opportunity to grow in responsibility as a nonprofit leader. Appropriate experience and credentials also offer the possibility of increased leadership responsibilities.
Minimum education and experience
- High school degree, with a preference for a bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of three years of comparable work experience.
- Knowledge of behavioral health and non-profit industry
- Excellent computational, critical thinking, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidentiality and discretion a must.
- Working mastery of computer software such as: Salesforce, Valant (EHR), data dashboard, Microsoft Office, Zoom, social media platforms and others.
- Training may be offered for some knowledge gaps.
